Winter sessions of Toddler and Story Times begin Monday, January 4th. Please email us at dshedloski@alexandria.lib.oh, call us at 740.924.3561, or stop in the library to register your child for a winter adventure with Miss Pam.

It has been a tough year economically for us all and Library funding for 2009 was reduced almost 20% from 2008 levels. Projections for 2010 estimate an additional reduction of 6-8%. We have already trimmed hours, electronic databases and materials budgets; frozen salaries; and left open staffing positions unfilled. Unfortunately, this is not enough to balance our income to expenses and we will be making additional cuts to materials budgets and effective January 4, we will be CLOSED ON FRIDAYS. Please accept our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
